CAUTION: Do not resize your browser window (e.g., minimize or maximize the window)
while entering your information into the Online Combined Application and Promissory Note, or the information you have entered
may be lost. If you need to resize your browser window, we recommend that you save the information you have already entered.
CAUTION: Do not use the Back button or the Forward button on your browser's toolbar to
navigate through the Online Combined Application and Promissory Note. Doing this could cause you to lose your data. Instead,
use the BACK and CONTINUE buttons provided at the bottom of every page.
TAB FUNCTION: The Netscape 4.x and Microsoft Internet Explorer browser versions will tab to the Help links in addition
to the question fields.
SAVING YOUR CONSOLIDATION APPLICATION: We strongly recommend that you save your Online Combined Application and Promissory Note.
To do this, always use the Save Application button on the side menu bar of each screen. Do not use the Save function under the
browser's File menu, since this will not encrypt your file and you may compromise your privacy.
GETTING HELP: To get help with a certain question, click on the underlined part of the question label. You may also click the Help
Index button on the side menu bar of each application page to get an index of help topics. The Online Combined Application and Promissory
Note has a link to Frequently Asked Questions which can be accessed by selecting FAQ on the top menu bar. In addition, you can view the
available Glossary of Terms at any time within the Online Combined Application and Promissory Note located in the Help Index.
PRINTING: It is recommended that you have access to a printer, so that you can print and then mail the signature page provided at the end of
this application. In addition, if you want to print the text for a help topic, you will need to open the help window and then press the Ctrl and
P keys at the same time.
"HIDDEN" WINDOWS: If you click on a help topic and nothing comes up, it may be that you minimized a help window earlier rather than
closing it completely. You may have to toggle through the open windows (on a Windows machine, you can do this by using the ALT-Tab keys) or move the
main browser window to the side to get to the "hidden" help window.
TYPING SINGLE NUMBERS: When you are entering dollar amounts in any field(s), if your answer is less than 10, type in only a single digit (i.e., 0 or 9
rather than 000 or 009).
IDENTIFYING TEXTURAL LINKS: This website displays textural links to other pages and websites in two different colors. Most textural links are displayed
in bold blue text. Textural links that are found on the top, bottom, and side menu bars of the application are displayed in bold white text on a colored background.
